Rules:
1. The matches will be the best of three sets, with tie-breaks at 6-6 for the first two sets.
2. Entrants must make every effort to ensure that matches are played as soon as possible, to allow for postponement and bad weather.
3. Both parties involved in a particular round should attempt to contact their next opponent, but it is the responsibility of the person(s) above their opponents in the draw to ensure that the match is played within time.
4. Tournament co-ordinators (see below) should be informed of the result of each round by the winner(s) as soon as each match is complete.
5. Matches should be completed by the specified date for each round (see below). If it is not completed by this date, the principal defaultant(s) will drop out and their opponents move on to the next round. If both parties are unable to play, a coin will be tossed to decide the winner. (Please plan your matches well ahead of the deadline - especially during the holiday period.)
5. In the event of a match being delayed by injury, in most cases and where the competition schedule is being affected or other games are forced to be delayed, the injured party will drop out if unable to play by the deadline.
